When you launch the app, you will have to first install the dashcam. Follow the on-screen instructions. The dashcam creates a Wi-Fi hotspot that automatically connects with the app. For the first connection, connect to the dashcam Wi-Fi manually. Enter the password “12345678” to connect.

The CruiseCam needs a micro SD card to record videos. It automatically records continuously and can be accessed with the GOBOULT Cruise app. The dashcam has a built-in G sensor for jolt detection. When a jolt is detected, the corresponding video is saved separately so it does not get overwritten.

Yes, the CruiseCam records continuously and overwrites the oldest video when the SD card is full. Videos can be downloaded onto your phone using the GOBOULT Cruise app. The default video duration is one minute. The dashcam has a built-in G sensor for jolt detection. When a jolt is detected, the corresponding video is saved separately so it does not get overwritten.

No, the CruiseCam does not need an internet connection.

Pull the adhesive from one end and keep pulling until it is removed. It might leave some glue marks on your windshield. Use rubbing alcohol, nail polish remover, or lighter fluid to clean these glue marks.

No, but it is recommended. The CruiseCam needs a power source to function. If you can provide a power source of more than 12V away from the car, then it is good to go.

The CruiseCam supports a type C cable. It is recommended to use the original GOBOULT cable for proper functionality.

Please check if the dashcam is powered on. Try these steps to troubleshoot this issue:

1. Check if the dashcam is powered on and an LED light is flashing.
2. Turn the Wi-Fi off and on again.
3. Remove the dashcam Wi-Fi from the phone’s Wi-Fi history and reconnect using the dashcam Wi-Fi password.
4. Unplug the USB cable and plug it in again.
5. Important note: If your phone is connected to Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, please disconnect these first before connecting with the dashcam.

The recommended operating temperature is -5 to 65 degrees Celsius.

Use a pry tool to tuck in the cable. Ensure the cables are routed behind the heading of the vehicle, then behind the weather seal of the door, and then route the car power cable from inside the glove box. This way, all the wiring will be concealed.

Wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connects to your phone through a Wi-Fi hotspot. Temporarily disconnect them while connecting your phone to the CruiseCam to set up or view/download videos from the dashcam. The dashcam records when the car’s ignition is on even if your phone is not connected to the dashcam.

Generally, on Android phones, the phone automatically switches to mobile data if the Wi-Fi does not have internet, or it will prompt you to switch. On older phones, you might face this issue. Disconnect your Wi-Fi so that mobile data starts working. Please note that the CruiseCam records when the car’s ignition is on even if your phone is not connected to the dashcam.

The CruiseCam remains active for a few seconds after the car ignition is off. To record while parked, you will need to buy a hardwiring kit.

No, you can’t. The app displays all events and recordings when you are connected to the CruiseCam through the Wi-Fi hotspot. Once the Wi-Fi hotspot connection is lost, you will only be able to check the downloaded clips.

Yes. You can easily change the Wi-Fi name and password within the GOBOULT Cruise app.

Open the app, go to the Device Dashboard, tap on Settings, and under Device, you can find and retrieve your password.

To remove CruiseCam from the app, open the GOBOULT Cruise app, click on ‘My camera’, select the camera you want to remove, click on the three-dot button, and choose ‘Delete’.

If you factory reset the dashcam but don't remove it from the app, you won't be able to connect it to your account. Simply reconnect the dashcam's Wi-Fi hotspot to your phone and open the GOBOULT Cruise app to add the device again.

No, downloading a video won't use your mobile data. Your phone's storage is sufficient for downloading videos.

The GOBOULT Cruise app offers various functions, including live viewing, event-based recording with jolt detection, device settings adjustment, and GPS logger view.

Yes, you can! Under Settings, there's an option called “Collision sensing” where you can adjust the sensitivity of the G-sensor to detect events.

Simply click on ‘Camera files’ on the home page of the GOBOULT Cruise app. You'll find four tabs: Loop, Snapshot, Locked/Emergency video, and Parking.

The default clip length for downloads is 1 minute, but you can adjust this in the device settings to 1, 3, or 5 minutes.

By default, yes, the CruiseCam will record audio from inside the car. You can turn off audio recording in the app settings if needed.

Yes, you can! Adjust the speaker volume in the camera settings to mute camera sounds and voice prompts entirely.

Open the GOBOULT Cruise app, go to “Camera files”, and browse the recordings sorted by date. You can easily find and view recordings for any specific date.

To download a recording, simply select the event and click on the download arrow icon. To delete a recording, click on the delete icon.

Other members can download the GOBOULT Cruise app and use the dashcam's Wi-Fi credentials shared by you to access camera files and settings.

The GPS logging functionality is used to store real-time coordinates and vehicle speed along with the dashcam recordings.

To access the GPS data, open the ‘Camera files’ option in the GOBOULT Cruise app. Once you open a video recording, you can view the map, GPS coordinates, and car speed associated with that recording.

Yes. The CruiseCam stores all recordings on the SD card. Without an SD card, you can only view the live feed, but no recordings will be saved. We recommend using an SD card for a better experience.

It supports up to a 256GB SD card, Class 10 or above.

The device uses a FIFO (First In, First Out) system. This means the oldest recordings will be automatically deleted to make space for new recordings

No. Critical recordings, also called emergency recordings, created when a jolt is detected, do not get overwritten. These recordings are always saved on your device, and only other recordings are impacted.

There’s an option to format the SD card in the app. Please format your SD card using this option.

You can download the clip when you are in the car and connected to the device. Once downloaded, the clip will be stored in your local storage and you can access it anytime from the app.
